You must stay here in Wexford area"
You must stay here if visiting Wexford. My bride and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary an Authentic Ireland booked us @ Hillside House. Theie website showed a beautiful B & B with lts of info. I decided that I , with the o.k. of the hosts, would renew our vows here.
We arrived t dusk to a Beautiful home and a warm welcome by the son. We were made to feel welcomed as soon as we drove up and were warmed by a pot of coffee and biscuits. Because my bride did not know of our renewing of vows, Mrs. Sunderland and her son were discreet in letting me know how and where ceremony would take place.
The house was grand with rooms spacious and very clean and the views were SPECTACULAR..... The dining room and breakfasts were grand and the grounds beautiful and teeming with plants and wildlife.. And on the day we renewed our vows, Mrs. Sunderland made the parlour beautiful and had champagne in her Waterford crystall and she dressed so nice. This is a home away from home... We entered as guest and left as friends... We tell you now -you must stay here while in Wexford. Thank you Mrs. Sunderland and family !!!!

"Great value for money"
Very nice rooms, friendly owner. Breakfast was five star hotel quality. Great value for money.
"Home from Home"
Had an excellent stay, facilities were great, rooms were very spacious & modern looking. Anne was extremely friendly & made us feel really welcome. I would stay again & highly recommend it.
"Excellent warm Irish welcome!"
Really warm welcome and set in beautiful countryside. Room was lovely and well equipped, really clean and comfy beds. Great selection of breakfast definately something for everyone including healthy options. Well situated to Gorey town only a couple of minutes drive away. Would highly recommend a visit.
"One of The Top B&B's I've Visited"
This place is gorgeous. It overlooks a lovely stretch of green landscape that flows out to the Irish Sea.
Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The ensuite was well kept and could not be faulted.
We were treated to a very warm welcome when we arrived and that was extended for out whole stay.
Breakfast was lovely the next morning, the only problem being that the menu made it difficult to choose.
I'll deintely stay here again when I visit the Sunny South East.
"Fantastic welcome in a great B&B"
We stayed in this B&B during a cycle tour of the country and received a really warm welcome upon arrival. Our rooms were clean, modern and spacious. the views from the B&B were stunning and the host was full of information about the local area. Breakfast in the morning was top class.
"A lovely B and B with a warm welcome by the owner"
Such a shame we could only stay one night. Wish we could have found this lovely B and B sooner. The views are stunning over the countryside and to the sea. Accommodation was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We were greated by Ann and made very welcome, with a pot of tea and some homemade tea bread (delicious). We would
definitely return if we are lucky enough to go to wonderful Ireland again.
"Irish hospitality as you would hope it to be"
We have recently returned from our stay at Hillside House in Gorey, County Wexford, and have nothing but the highest praise for this excellent B&B accommodation.
The beautiful house is set in a perfect location for the beach, the very attractive town of Gorey (both 10 minutes drive) and very convenient for the beautiful Wicklow area, which is about a 40 minute drive away.
The beautifully kept gardens overlook a stunning view of valley and hills, with a tempting background of the Irish sea.
The house itself is immaculate, and the bedrooms well furnished and equipped.
Mrs Sunderland, the proprietor, is a wonderfully kind and generous hostess, for whom nothing appears to be too much trouble. The breakfast was ample and there was a very good selection of delicious food available.
The terms were very realistic and overall excellent value for money.
This accommodation deserves the highest star rating.
