House Bed and Breakfast / Bed and Breakfast is an Irish
Tourist Board approved Country House. Located in a peaceful
setting overlooking Tara Hill Gorey near Courtown,
the Croughan Mountains and of course the Wexford/Wicklow coastline.
Hillside House is situated in North Co. Wexford and is only
6 kilometer's from the market town of Gorey and Courtown.
Standing on a picturesque sloping site, with splendid coastline
and countryside views, Hillside House is a spacious modern
Bed and Breakfast.
On
arrival you be welcomed with complimentary tea or coffee and
freshly baked scones.
We
have six en suite bedrooms with colour television, electric
blankets and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms to
the to the front the rooms have wonderful views of Tara Hill
and Ballymoney coastline.
The
residents lounge is a perfect place to meet and with its open
fire, television/video/DVD is a favorite place to relax. Overall
Hillside House is one of the finest examples of Irish living
available and so comes highly recommended by both the Irish

surrounding Area
Located
just minutes form the beautiful woodlands and beaches of Courtown,
Hillside House is the perfect accommodation for nature lovers
and those who just wish to relax. The view woken to is one
of scenic beauty. Being situated on Aske Hill, a small but
prominent sister of Tara Hill, the view is one of stunning
peace and tranquillity.
The
area remains entirely untouched by modern living, and so is
one of few. You can walk for miles through the fresh country
area only meeting small country farm houses and country homes.
The warmth of the Sunny South East comes from the people's
hearts and you will soon fall in love with it
Gorey
A
few miles inland lies the historic town of Gorey, first identified
as a center in the Norman records of 1296. In its time Gorey
has known the triumph and tragedy of war, notably when it
played a leading role in the rebellion of 1798 . Today Gorey
is a major shopping center with a large range of stores,
supermarkets and fashion boutiques,as well as
many reputable restaurants and hospitable pubs. The
town is just 7 miles from the Wicklow border, so hill walkers
don't have far to go for a stretch.
Hillside House is well located on the Wicklow / Wexford border
offering easy access to the N11
